How to Create a Twitter (X) Account

 

📱 Option 1: On Your Phone

Step 1: Download the App

• Open the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iPhone)

• Search for "Twitter" or "X" and install the official app

Step 2: Open the App and Tap "Create account"

Step 3: Enter Your Details

• Name (can be real or username)

• Phone number or tap "Use email instead"

• Date of birth

Step 4: Tap Next → Customize your experience → Tap Sign up

Step 5: Verify your phone or email

• Twitter will send you a code

• Enter the code to confirm your account

Step 6: Set a Password

Make sure it’s secure and easy to remember

Step 7: Choose a Profile Picture (optional)

You can skip or upload one now

Step 8: Select Interests

Twitter uses this to suggest content

Step 9: Follow some accounts (optional)

You can skip this or follow people based on your interests

✅ You’re done! You can now tweet, follow others, and customize your profile.

Step 1: Go to https://twitter.com/i/flow/signup

Step 2: Fill in:

• Name

• Phone or Email

• Date of birth

Step 3: Click Next → Click Sign up

Step 4: Verify with code sent to your phone/email

Step 5: Set your password, and continue with the setup steps (photo, bio, interests, etc.)

👥 Tips for New Users

• Username: You’ll be asked to create a @username (example: @yourname123)

• You can change it later in settings
